The Castle
of Mey

The Walled Garden The  castle, former summer residence of the late Queen Mother, and gardens, are now open to the public for most of the summer. 
The gardens consist of a traditional Scottish walled garden with herbaceous and vegetable gardens, greenhouse, shrub roses and Shell garden.

Cawdor

There are three gardens at Cawdor. The old kitchen garden which now features a maze, orchard and paradise garden. The flower garden , a formal design with yew hedges, lavender and rose beds and herbaceous borders. The periphery is planted with exotic shrubs. The wild garden is constructed along a burn which runs adjacent to the Castle west wall. Open May - Oct

Seasonal highlights - hellebores, primulas, meconopsis, hardy geraniums and colour themed summer beds. On a steep hillside overlooking Loch Ness. Open February to November. 9am - 7pm or dusk.

Logie Walled Garden The gardens have recently been re-designed around the original clipped yew hedging with formal and informal areas of shrubs and herbaceous planting.A wild garden with stream is a feature, as is the well kept vegetable garden.
