Garden Tours
These are guided tours of gardens in Scotland. Each tour is bookable in advance and they are customised to suit you, the client. They are not scheduled tours departing at set times from set places so it is not possible to join a tour.
There are two types of tour:-
Day Tour
This is a full day tour starting and ending at your over-night
accommodation, preferably, in or near Inverness. We would hope to
visit three gardens in the day and travel approximately 230
miles.
The route we travel will be chosen to suit the time of year, the
prevailing weather and of course your wishes.
Extended Tour
This is a tour of gardens which extends over a period of days
and can cover a wider area than the Northern Highlands.
The tour suits a garden group and we would usually travel by
coach and lodge over-night at hotels or guest houses.
Your Guide
Your guide is Mr.Gavin Dallmeyer, an experienced garden designer
who has lived and worked in the Highlands for many years. He has
a deep interest in all aspects of the area from its rocky genesis
to its human and natural history. He is passionate about gardens
and is eager to share this passion with you.
