Nestling in a sheltered corner of the Sleat
peninsula.
The 40 acres of woodland garden are based around a 19th century
collection
of exotic trees. Much of the garden has been restored. New features
include
the ponds, rockery, herbaceous borders and terrace walk. Gardens open all year. |

Further north than Moscow, this unique indoor
garden
overlooks the beautiful Summer Isles. Personally guided tours take
visitors
through three different climatic zones. Lush, sub-tropical fruit trees,
exotic flowers, herbs and vegetables all grow without soil. Hydroponic

The arboretum, planted in the 1870s, is full
of splendid
and rare trees, specie rhododendrons, azaleas and shrubs. Warmed by the
Gulf Stream, this tranquil woodland setting has an alpine garden and
paths

This 13-acre policy woodland enoys a tranquil
setting
by the shore of Loch Alsh. Unique collections of hardy ferns, fuchsias,
hydrangeas, bamboos and rhododendrons. New additions include plants
from
